Our Mission

At Stream Flies, our mission for the past eight years has been to supply the fly fishing community with the finest fishing flies at the best possible prices. A successful fly fishing experience depends greatly on the quality and diversity of the fishing flies in your fly box. No matter what type of fish you’re pursuing, chances are you’ll find the right fly pattern here. We offer a wide selection of premium trout flies. Our flies start at 50 cents each. Please check back often for your favorite fly patterns as our inventory is constantly changing.

Our Story

In 2011, after losing several flies to trees and bushes on my favorite local eastern Oregon river, I decided I was tired of paying the high prices charged for flies at the local fly shops. I spent a lot of time trying to reach my snagged flies stuck in trees, picturing each one as a $5 bill just out of reach!

After months of research, ordering samples, and trial and error on the river, I found several great sources of ethically sourced flies around the world, for a great price!

Since 2011, we have seen our ups and downs, had many challenges that come along with international sourcing, and we have continued to grow. Our loyal customers have been wonderful ambassadors for our growing brand, and we hope to serve you with high quality affordable products for years to come.
